SIP (Structural Insulated Panels)
Structural panels with high thermal insulation and reduced thickness. Ideal when the budget is tight and a very efficient envelope is required.
Timber light-frame
A very flexible system for homes around 90–200 m². It allows good energy performance and a well-balanced cost–performance ratio.
CLT (Cross Laminated Timber)
Cross-laminated timber panels for solid and precise structures, with the possibility of exposed timber and an extra level of architectural quality.

Frequently asked questions about the Preliminary study and timber-soul homes
What exactly is included in Ecopanelia’s Preliminary study?
The Preliminary study includes a basic technical reading of the plot, a proposal for the most suitable timber construction system (SIP, light-frame or CLT), and an indicative cost range for the fabrication of the home. It is not an executive project or a fixed quotation, but it is a solid basis to decide whether the project fits your idea and budget.
Is the cost range you provide binding?
No. The cost range we give is indicative and based on the information you share with us (size, brief, surroundings, etc.). As the project is defined in more detail (architecture, structure, MEP…), the budget is refined. The key purpose of the Preliminary study is to have an honest reference before moving forward.
Can you work with the architect I already have?
Yes. We can collaborate with your architecture team to adapt the project to industrialised timber systems, optimise details and prepare the fabrication and erection solution. The goal is for the architect to keep control of the design while we contribute the industrialised and execution side.
Do you only work in the Tarragona area?
Our main focus is Tarragona and its surroundings (coast and inland), but we can assess projects in other areas if they align with our way of working, logistics and timelines. In any case, we will always analyse feasibility before committing.
When do you offer turnkey solutions and when only fabrication?
In some projects we can offer a more turnkey-like solution, coordinating trades and overall execution. In other cases, our scope focuses on the design, fabrication and erection of the timber structure, working together with other trades and the architect. We define this case by case from the Preliminary study stage.
